These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, products, digital files, and fabrication work provided by BlackHelix Studio.

By purchasing products, requesting work, approving a quote, or engaging our services you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. Services

BlackHelix Studio provides creative and fabrication services including:

• Graphic design and branding • Digital artwork and visual assets • CAD and 3D modelling • Custom 3D printing and fabrication • Product prototyping and development • Custom creative builds

Projects may include digital files, physical products, or both.

2. Quotes

Quotes:

• remain valid for 14 days • are based on the information provided at the time • must be accepted before work begins

Changes to project scope, specifications, or materials will require an updated quote and may change pricing.

3. Payments

BlackHelix Studio requires payment before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Projects may require:

• deposits • milestone payments • full payment before delivery

Deposits are non refundable once work has started.

Completed work, digital files, or physical products will not be delivered until full payment is received.

Work may be paused if invoices become overdue.

4. Scope of Work

Projects are completed according to the approved quote or written agreement.

Requests outside the agreed scope will incur additional charges.

Scope changes may affect price and timeline.

5. Revisions

Design work includes limited revisions unless otherwise stated in the quote.

Additional revisions or redesign requests will incur additional charges.

6. Production Time

Estimated timelines may be provided but are not guaranteed.

Production timelines may change due to:

• client response delays • design revisions • material availability • machine maintenance • studio workload

7. Design Approval

Where previews, renders, or mockups are provided, the client must review and approve the design before production begins.

Approval confirms the client has checked:

• spelling and wording • layout and positioning • sizing and dimensions • colours and materials • overall design accuracy

Once approval is given and production begins, changes cannot be made without additional charges.

BlackHelix Studio is not responsible for errors present in approved designs.

Reprints caused by approved errors will be treated as a new job.

8. 3D Printing Characteristics

3D printed objects naturally contain:

• visible layer lines • minor surface variation • slight colour differences • dimensional tolerances of approximately ±0.2mm

These characteristics are normal and not considered defects.

9. Print Failures

3D printing involves mechanical systems and materials that may occasionally fail.

If a failure occurs during production due to machine or material issues, BlackHelix Studio will attempt a reprint where practical.

Additional charges may apply if failures are caused by:

• unsuitable designs • geometry that cannot be printed reliably • client supplied files

BlackHelix Studio may stop production if a design is determined to be unprintable or unsuitable for fabrication.

10. Client Supplied Files

Clients may supply files such as:

• STL models • CAD files • artwork or logos • reference designs

BlackHelix Studio is not responsible for errors within client supplied files, including:

• scaling issues • geometry errors • corrupted models • copyright violations

Repairs or redesign required to make files printable may incur additional charges.

11. Custom Products

Many products produced by BlackHelix Studio are custom made or made to order.

Once production has begun:

• cancellations are not accepted • design services are non refundable

Consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.

12. Rush Orders

Rush or priority work may be available depending on workload.

Rush orders may incur priority fees and may require full upfront payment.

BlackHelix Studio reserves the right to decline rush work if production capacity does not allow reliable completion.
